Hey, I’m Bisa Irie.

I am a multidisciplinary media professional with extensive experience in radio broadcasting, online media, and print journalism.

About Myself

My first love was radio. The world changed for me when I first heard the voices of Casey Kasem, Delilah, Orson Welles, and Dr. Ruth. Inspired by the contributions of icons like Billy West, Cree Summer, Keith David, Donald Glover, Issa Rae, Ayo Edebiri, Regina King, Eartha Kitt, Kevin Michael Richardson, Eddie Murphy, and Kyla Pratt, I discovered that my voice is my most valuable asset.

I am currently interning as an associate producer and digital marketing coordinator at LFG Radio Show. While I primarily work behind the scenes, I occasionally appear in segments or contribute to the writing of them. You can also hear me on 91.5 The Rebel HD 2, the number one college station in Nevada. When I am not in the studio, I manage the social media accounts for the Collegiate 100 - UNLV Chapter and a local boxer with an impressive undefeated streak.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I am a proud Midwest girl at heart. I support all Wisconsin sports teams, am a true cheese connoisseur, and firmly believe that what others call a water fountain is rightfully called a "bubbler."

When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my family, which includes my loving husband Phillip and our two fur-children, Prince and Shadow.

I will be graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May 2025 with a BA in Journalism and Media Studies, concentrating in both audio/podcasting and digital/social media.
